Hello friends,

I'm so pleased to announce that my painting, In This Moment, will be on display at the Oil Painters of America's 2017 National Exhibition, hosted by Eisele Gallery of Fine Art in Cincinnati, Ohio.  The show runs from May 12 - June 24th. This is my first time exhibiting in the Nationals, and I'm extremely honored to be part of this show. Many of you will recognize the familiar subject - my female greyhound, Train. Her beauty and intensity inspire me every day; I am hopelessly and completely captivated by my muse.

Kathleen,
I just returned from OPA in Cincinnati and I was "wowed" by your painting, "In the Moment".....I voted for it as my choice among the associate paintings.....I love your use of transparent layers and opaque layers and a minimum of strokes to tell the story.....masterfully done!!

My wife and I travel to Colorado Springs once or twice a year, and I hope to get a chance to meet you on one of those trips.

Again, congratulations on a beautiful painting!

Hi David,

Thank you so much for the lovely comment, and for the vote. I appreciate them both! It's always nice to hear when your art touches someone, especially from a fellow artist. It would be great to meet you and your wife sometime.

All my best,
Kathleen
